Your Company Story

Member-owned Luckey Farmers, Inc. was established in 1919 and is a grain marketing and farm supply cooperative located in Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan, in Lucas, Monroe, Ottawa, Sandusky, Wood Seneca and Huron counties. The cooperative is a result of several mergers, consolidations, and acquisitions that currently serve approximately 1000 members.

Luckey Farmers has grown through mergers, consolidations, and acquisitions to expand its services and facilities to better serve its members.

What's next for your company? As we look ahead, Luckey Farmers remains focused on building upon our strong foundation while adapting to the evolving needs of agriculture.

How has OABA membership benefited your company or the agribusiness industry? Luckey Farmers is committed to helping farmers implement 4R Nutrient Stewardship practices that improve water quality while maintaining productive and profitable operations. Through the resources, education, and leadership provided by the Ohio AgriBusiness Association, our team has strengthened its ability to promote and implement 4R practices across the Western Lake Erie Basin.

What is one reason you would encourage others to become an OABA member? Through its membership in the Ohio AgriBusiness Association, Luckey Farmers has been able to access a variety of valuable educational programs, including spray applicator training, grain safety training, and grain grading schools. These opportunities help ensure our employees stay informed on industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and emerging trends. Membership in OABA provides access to resources and expertise that support the ongoing development of our team and strengthen our ability to serve our customers effectively.

Luckey Farmers has a 24-Hour Agronomy Bay that provides customers with convenient access to essential products and services when they need them most. Designed with flexibility and efficiency in mind, the 24-hour facility allows customers to access fuel and other resources outside of traditional business hours, helping them keep their operations moving during busy seasons. This added convenience reflects Luckey Farmers’ commitment to supporting our customers with reliable solutions and service around the clock.
