OABA Sustaining Sponsor Spotlight: AgroLiquid

Spotlight Header Agroliquid

With a mission to “Prosper the Farmer,” AgroLiquid has been recognized as a high-quality national brand with ethically driven standards. AgroLiquid strives to help growers reach the best possible yields through its fertilizer products, while also using sustainable agricultural practices.

While the foundation for the company was started in 1963 by Douglas Cook, it was when Cook was joined by his son-in-law, Troy Bancroft, in 1983 that Agro-Culture Liquid Fertilizers incorporated and began its journey to becoming a national player in the crop nutrition industry. In 2016, the company restructured under the name AgroLiquid to align with industry progression. The future of the company is with Troy and Jill’s sons; Nick, Albert and Gerrit Bancroft, all three currently employed with AgroLiquid.

An industry leader in environmentally friendly farming practices, AgroLiquid uses their extensive research program to develop and manufacture the most efficient and responsible crop nutrient products. Still a family-owned business, AgroLiquid stands on five basic principals: Honesty, Integrity, Ethics, Quality and Giving Back. AgroLiquid is a founding member of the Responsible Nutrient Management Foundation and a 4R partner, which enables them to further their dedication to sustaining the environment.

As a member of the Ohio AgriBusiness Association, AgroLiquid has been able to better understand the problems that face Ohio agriculture, especially around issues of nutrient management. The company also benefits from the networking aspect of OABA, causing expansion of dealers in Ohio since they first joined.
