Livestock Technician
Select Sires, Inc. in Plain City and Unionville Center, Ohio
Select Sires, Inc. is seeking Livestock Technicians for Plain City and Unionville Center, Ohio to care for bulls and steers, to include stall cleaning, feeding, wellness, all related barn chores, and other tasks as assigned. These are non-exempt, hourly positions.
Kellgren/Hecker Centers: This position also manages animals for collection. The work schedule is based on ten (10) hour days and four (4) days per week, subject to change to meet departmental needs. Rotational scheduling requires some weekend work. The hours are 6:00 am to 4:30 pm. Overtime opportunities are available.
Hoyt Center: This position also assists with fieldwork, crop management, silo management, and waste management. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, subject to change to meet departmental needs. Some weekend and/or overtime work may be required.
