The Certified Crop Adviser (CCA) Exam Training Session, sponsored and delivered by the OSU Extension Agronomic Crops Team, will be offered at the Shelby County Extension Office Jan. 14-15, 2015. The session begins at 9 a.m. on Jan. 14 and adjourns at 5 p.m. Jan. 15. The price for the program is $225, with secure online registration via credit card, debit card or check at https://www.regonline.com/CCAPrep2015.
Study guide:
There is a good resource - “Preparing for the CCA Exam” - that is available to purchase for $50.It is structured for the international exam. The study guide (Item# 50-1000) can be purchased at http://ppi-store.stores.yahoo.net/ccamanual.html. Structured for the international exam, this guide is divided into four main categories: Nutrient Management, Crop Management, Pest Management and Soil/Water Management, with subject matter and questions/answers at end of each chapter.
