Your Company Story

Dating back to 1916 that co-ops that make up what is now Legacy Farmers Cooperative were formed by farmers to pool their resources together to gain a bigger presence in the market place than a single farm could do on their own.

Over the years, opportunities for acquisitions of facilities have made Legacy what it is today. Services have changed dramatically over the years to evolve with changes in farming and needs of the customers.

What’s next for your company? Continue to drive results with strong customer service and efficiencies while looking for quality growth opportunities that can add value to the members and the co-op.

OABA Membership

How has OABA membership benefited your company or the agribusiness industry? Legislative leadership to help protect our industry and educational opportunities for our employee team and leaders.

What is one reason you would encourage others to become an OABA member? OABA is in the corner of agribusinesses in Ohio and also involved nationally.  OABA is a great resource on contacts/networking in our industry as well as can help navigate the government policies and government agencies.

Just for Fun

Legacy Farmers Cooperative was the first and currently the only “FS” member of Growmark in Ohio.
