Morral Companies, LLC. was founded in 1963 as a family business serving the local farm community. Since that time, our organization has grown to offer solutions for every need. We continue to grow with the agricultural andgeneral business environment, both locally and nationally. In addition to retail operations serving our country’s farmers, Morral Companies, LLC. offers manufacturing, packaging and wholesale distribution of a wide range of agriculture products, and beyond. With a 24/7 liquid load-out system and a large dry fertilizer warehouse, MorralCompanies, LLC. has become one of the nation’s largest formulators and manufacturers of liquid fertilizer. We serve farmers and professionals in the agricultural and lawn/garden industries. Other services include soil analysis, custom application and retail seed sales. Our products reach retail, wholesale, professional and industrial markets and can be found anywhere from a local fertilizer dealer’s warehouse to the shelves of national and international retailers. For over 60 years, we have always believed in pursuing three principals: Innovation,Quality and Service.

How do you see your company growing in the future?

Morral Companies, LLC. continues to strive and grow as a fertilizer formulator and manufacturer. With our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, we have the ability to be more efficient with production and better suited for the demand of a wide variety of products. We are continuing to grow our packaging capabilities, and currently utilize robotic bagging lines to be as efficient as possible while maintaining quality. Morral Companies, LLC. also haspackaging capabilities for liquid products in various sized containers.

How has your company changed over the years?

Morral Companies, LLC. has grown from serving local growers to serving national customers on a daily basis. As the grower continues to innovate and request additional types of products, we have developed new products to serve these requests. We have invested significantly in production capabilities to aid in liquid fertilizermanufacturing and to expand dry packaging capabilities. We consider ourselves a diversified company in that wenow service local growers at the retail and wholesale level, manufacture and distribute professional fertilizers for the lawn and garden market, as well as contract package for a wide variety of customers. Morral Companies, LLC. custom applies over 150,000 acres each year with fertilizer and crop protection products. We have substantial amounts of liquid and dry fertilizer storage and are proud of ourautomated, state of the art liquid fertilizer production facility which houses multiple liquid fertilizer reactors. Morral Companies, LLC. is one of the largest inland fertilizer distributors in Ohio and delivers quality products andreliable service to local, regional and national customers.

Interesting tidbits about your business:

Morral Companies, LLC. was the first to build a 10-34-0 TVA Pipe Reactor Processing Plant in the United States, and is recognized as a pioneer in the development of liquid starter, liquid turf fertilizers and liquid slow releasenitrogen, including our own proprietary NBN slow-release fertilizers. These products are manufactured at our Morral location.

Morral Companies, LLC. utilizes a robotic automated bagging system for both agricultural and turf/ornamental production at our Caledonia location.

How has OABA helped your business or the agribusiness industry?

As a member of the Ohio AgriBusiness Association, Morral Companies, LLC. benefits from the numerousnetworking opportunities with others in the agricultural community. We are able to stay up-to-date on government developments and have a strong advocacy position in Ohio agriculture. Our employees are able to take part in activities and courses put on by the Ohio Agribusiness Association to gain the knowledge they need to advance in their careers and help take Morral Companies, LLC. to the next level. With agriculture being the number oneeconomy in the state, the OABA has aided Morral Companies, LLC. and others in advocating on important topics and issues that affect our industry. Specifically, the OABA has been supportive on the water quality issues that our state has faced in the last 10 years. Related to that, the OABA’s support of the 4R Program and its message has been crucial to the voice of our agribusinesses.
