Eurofins Grain Inspection has long been an industry staple for onsite grain grading support at many of the nation’s leading corn and soybean processing facilities. In July of 2021, Eurofins established a dedicated rail inspection division offering services across an extensive geographical network, including Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, and Michigan. While we have been providing rail inspection services for years, we now have a rail division with inspectors dedicated to serving rail clients, as well as container clients.
Did you know? Grain shippers do not have to be tied to an official inspector to have grain inspected when traveling to end-users domestically and to Canada and Mexico. Eurofins’ rail inspection team is committed to providing industry-leading response time, experienced inspectors providing unbiased grades and supplemental services such as rapid onsite mycotoxin testing. Eurofins’ experience, reliability, and real-time grades allow their clients to load cars with the efficiency and ability to make adjustments as they are loading. For the end-users, this means getting quality grain sooner, one-stop comprehensive testing, inspections based on FGIS guidelines, and experience; our inspectors have an average of 15 years of experience.
Eurofins recently added falling number capability to their test portfolio and are currently running falling numbers testing for various elevators/farmers. Eurofins also added the ability to run six-panel rapid mycotoxin testing earlier in the year, including aflatoxin, vomitoxin, fumonisin, zearalenone ochratoxin, and T2/H2.
