Chemical Retailer Awareness Workshop
Three area divisions of The Federal Bureau of Investigation, Weapons of Mass Destruction Program, are hosting workshops for chemical retailers.
The workshop will provide local management/loss prevention representatives an opportunity to meet FBI representatives responsible for WMD investigations, intelligence, outreach and operational responses.
The FBI will provide an unclassified overview of current intelligence on explosive precursor chemical threats, the FBI's mitigation strategy and a forum for the exchange of best practices aimed at training point-of-sale employees on the potential indicators of terrorist activities, suspicious purchases and suspicious activity reporting mechanisms.

This workshop will provide senior security representative from your chemical facility an opportunity to meet local FBI representatives responsible for WMD investigations, intelligence, outreach and operational response.
The FBI will provide an unclassified overview of current intelligence concerning chemical threats, the FBI's mitigation strategy, and a forum for exchanging best practices aimed at keeping high risk chemical facilities secure from all adversaries.
