The Ohio AgriBusiness Association invites you to attend the 2020 Golf for Scholarships outings. The second outing will be held August 19 at Shelby Oaks Golf Club in Sidney, Ohio. 

Golf for Scholarships outings are the primary fund-raising activities for the Ohio AgriBusiness Association (OABA) Educational Trust scholarship program, through which more than $45,000 in scholarship dollars is provided to students enrolled in an agriculture-related field attending The Ohio State University and OSU Agricultural Technical Institute, Clark State Community College, Central State University and Wilmington College.

Registration is $150 per person and $600 per team. Visit www.oaba.net/events to register. 

 

Raffle tickets

Purchase your raffle tickets for a chance to win:

  • Cabela’s $500 gift card - sponsored by Tri-Ag Products, Inc. 
  • 12" x 14" RTIC cooler (ARM branded) - sponsored by Ag Resource Management - NEW!
  • $500 cash (in lieu of 2 OSU vs Michigan football tickets) - sponsored by the Ohio AgriBusiness Association 

Tickets are $5 each, or five for $20. To meet coronavirus safety standards, no tickets will be sold for cash during the event. Participants are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance online during or after registration. The winner will be announced after the event. 

 

New for 2020! Virtual Golfer Registration

Unable to attend the 2020 Golf for Scholarships outings? Support agribusiness students through a Virtual Golfer registration!

With current coronavirus restrictions, OABA recognizes many golfers and non-golfers may be unable to attend this year’s Golf for Scholarships outings – but may still have interest in supporting the Educational Trust, which annually provides more than $45,000 in scholarships to students studying agriculture in Ohio. This year, OABA is offering a new way for individuals or teams to support the Ed Trust: a Virtual Golfer registration.

The Virtual Golfer registration, available individually or as a team, is a symbolic registration for those who are unable to attend this year’s event. Virtual golfers will receive recognition through social media and event day signage. In addition, golfers will be mailed this year’s commemorative item, an OABA-branded umbrella, and 5 complimentary raffle tickets.

  • Team: $300
