The Guide to Seed Treatment Stewardship

Produced by the American Seed Trade Association and CropLife America

After more than a year of work by representatives of every sector of the seed industry, the American Seed Trade Association is proud to release “The Guide to Seed Treatment Stewardship.” As you may know, this guide was jointly produced by the American Seed Trade Association and CropLife America in response to growing concerns about the potential impact of seed treatments on non-target organisms (most pressingly, bees).

The website features not only the Guide itself, but also several items that will be useful for getting the word out about this important resource to the entire crop production value chain. 

If you click on the “Resources” section of the site, you’ll find the following under “Materials:”

• A brochure about the Guide (which can be customized)
• Two PowerPoint slides for presentations about the Guide

If you click on the “Media” section of the site, you’ll find under “Images” and “Advertising:”
