Past OABA Chief Executive George Greenleaf Honored for WWII Service

Past Ohio AgriBusiness Association (OABA) Chief Executive George Greenleaf joined nearly 100 local veterans for the Honor Flight, featuring a guided tour of the National World War II monument in Washington, D.C. George and his fellow veterans were welcomed home from their Honor Flight with a ceremony on Sept. 8.

Earlier this summer, George was finally awarded his WWII veteran medal. George was one of more than 100 Ohio WWII veterans who were never given their victory medals more than 60 years ago.

George earned two purple hearts while serving in Germany and later went on to serve our country during the Korean War. George also served for 26 years as the Chief Executive Officer of what is now called the Ohio AgriBusiness Association.

On behalf of the Ohio AgriBusiness Association, we want to thank George for his service and sacrifice for our country.
