Starting July 1, 2004, the Ohio Department of Agriculture begins assessing cent-per-bushel on all deliveries of all agricultural commodities. The fees collected will need to be remitted to ODA Grain Warehouse Section on a quarterly base with the first payment due no later then November 1, 2004. ODA will be sending the necessary form. The fee is being assessed to replenish the Agricultural Commodity Depositors Fund which cover farmers in the event of insolvencies at Ohio warehouses.
