A home-grown Ohio business, CompManagement, Inc., is a third-party administrator for workers’ compensation. Headquartered in Dublin, Ohio, CompManagement specializes in premium discount programs, claims management, cost containment, client education, safety and loss control, and unemployment consultation.

Founded in 1984, CompManagement is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. The company started by working with a handful of colleagues monitoring claims and verifying rates for a few public entities. Purchased by Sedgwick in 2006, CompManagement has stayed true to its Ohio roots while drawing benefits from the Sedgwick’s national resources.

CompManagement continues to focus on growth within Ohio, with additional offices in Canton, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Toledo and Youngstown. The company annually saves its clients $100 million in premiums paid. Participating OABA members have saved nearly $1.2 million in workers’ compensation premiums since CompManagement’s partnership in 2009.
