National Grain and Feed Association Names Gordon President
During the National Grain and Feed Association’s (NGFA) September Board of Directors’ meeting in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Randall C. Gordon was officially named as the association’s president.
Gordon, who joined the NGFA’s staff in 1978 as director of information services, has been serving as acting president since February after Kendell W. Keith retired after 25 years of distinguished service as the association’s president.
Gordon was elected vice president of communications and government relations in 1985, and served in that capacity until his promotion to acting president. In the organization’s more than 116-year history, Gordon is only the sixth person to serve as the NGFA’s chief staff officer.
A Nebraska native, he received a B.A. degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in journalism, history and political science. He is a member of the Society of Professional Journalists, Sigma Delta Chi and the National Association of Farm Broadcasters.
