OSU CFAES and MACC Present Welcome to Co-ops Online Training

Welcome To Coop

The Mid America Cooperative Council's training for new co-op employees and interns is being offered online, in partnership with The Ohio State University College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences. Update

Due to an overwhelming response in registration, the Welcome to Co-ops online training for Tuesday, June 23rd has reached its capacity limit. Therefore an additional training of Welcome To Co-ops is being offered. The date for that additional training will be Thursday, June 25th. The registration for the June 25th training is now open. Once again, space is limited for this training, so register ASAP.

Registration is $75 for MACC members and $105 for non-members. Participants must register by June 22. 

About This Training

A co-op’s employees are ambassadors for the business, building relationships with member-owners,
directors, and the public. This interactive, online training will introduce participants to the co-op business model and co-op principles, help participants understand the value of co-ops and the history of co-ops in the U.S., and most importantly, to understand the rights and responsibilities of co-op member-owners and employees as co-op ambassadors.

  • Co-op team members who want to learn more about the ‘co-op difference’

Format: Three-hour interactive online
