Research, Technology Highlighted at 4R Technology Review Field Day

The 2017 4R Technology Review Field Day brought together more than 90 retailers, farmers and other interested parties to learn about agriculture’s continued efforts to improve water quality in the Western Lake Erie Basin and waterways across Ohio.

The event was held by the Ohio AgriBusiness Association, in partnership with The Fertilizer Institute, Environmental Tillage Systems, Mosaic, Ohio Soybean Council, Ohio Corn & Wheat Growers Association and other industry leaders.

Participants gained insight into current 4R research and best management practices, as well as receiving an update about the 4R Nutrient Stewardship Certification Program. The day also featured a strip-till field demonstration by ETS and a look at edge of field research being conducted at Beck’s Hybrids by USDA-ARS and Ohio State.

Pictures from the event are available on the OABA Facebook page.
