Nutrient runoff and discharges continue to result in degraded water quality and threats to drinking water sources and aquatic habitat. Agriculture is practiced on a large part of Ohio's landscape. Even though most ag producers are conscientious with nutrient management, problems persist, especially in Lake Erie and other lakes and reservoirs where nutrients from all sources often concentrate. OSU researchers and agency staff, with partners, are very focused on improving tools and guidance ag producers can use
