Legacy Farmers Cooperative is hiring a Crop Specialist for their Pandora location. The Crop Specialist will sell services and products in a manner that will optimize the cooperative’s market share, improve the cooperative’s efficiency, help achieve the cooperative’s mission and goals, and result in outstanding customer service. This position requires a deep understanding of the entire value regarding inputs that the Cooperative will provide to improve crop productivity, methods of creating efficiency and economic benefit for growers and cooperative.

Requirements:
- The Crop Specialist needs to have a rounded background, experience and understanding of all agronomy products and services, including CN, CPP, seed, precision ag, scouting and other technology and services that can bring value to the customer and Legacy
- Crop Specialist is expected to gain an understanding and able to perform all agronomy plant operations and services necessary to meet goals and objectives, respond to after hour calls from customers, and maintaining aptitude in retail sales and knowledge of programs the cooperative and suppliers have in place.
- Crop Specialist will maintain an attitude that promotes team work within the cooperative and a favorable image of the cooperative.
- The Crop Specialist will take an active roll in Intensive Crop Management Program, plots, and Agronomy Research Farm which help build customer relations.
- Crop Specialist will learn the seed brands products, crop protection products, seed placement, seed treatment products, seed and CPP programs offered by the cooperative.
- The Crop Specialist will assist in evaluating product lines and controlling product shrinkage.
- Crop Specialist will work towards attaining a CCA (Certified Crop Advisor) license to continue to build their own knowledge, skills, and value to our customers.
- The Crop Specialist will attend and participate in training, education, and new technology opportunities that will allow him/her to be a professional consultant that adds value for our customer.
