NH3 Safety Training

Event Dates: February 19 & 20, 2013

Smithville, OH and Findlay, OH (full)

NOTE: The Findlay session on Feb. 20 is full, so be sure to register for the Smithville session on Feb. 19 as soon as possible.

The Ohio AgriBusiness Association’s Anhydrous Ammonia Safety Workshop Task Force planned a brand new robust training program for 2013, which features an interactive, hands-on format designed to help participants “learn by doing.”

Participants will spend the morning in a classroom setting, and will then move to a nearby anhydrous facility to apply the information presented in the first portion of the training. Participants will break into smaller, more interactive groups to participate in hands-on break-out sessions throughout the facility.

The OABA Anhydrous Ammonia workshop assists dealers and their employees – and local emergency personnel (eligible for member rate) – in complying with Department of Transportation Hazardous Materials Training Requirements for anhydrous ammonia. The training features experts from both outside and within the industry, along with government regulators.
