Grain Grading School

Canceled

As of May 5, the Ohio AgriBusiness Association has cancelled the June 9 Grain Grading School scheduled at Fremont, due to Ohio’s current coronavirus restrictions on meetings of not more than 10 people. At this time, the July and August events are scheduled to occur as planned.

For grain handlers, we understand this training is essential to your business’ operations. If you have questions surrounding certified staffing for incoming grain and the upcoming wheat harvest, please contact the Ohio Department of Agriculture’s Inspection Administrator Dave Simmons to determine the best course of action regarding your facility.

Eurofins, our Grain Grading School instructor, has shared the link to USDA’s grading tutorials as a training resource for you to share with any employees new to the grain grading area. These tutorials do not take the place of the Ohio Commodity Tester Certificate.
