Ohio EPA's Encouraging Environmental Excellence (E3) Recognition Program

Each year Ohio EPA recognizes organizations in the Buckeye State for exceptional achievements in environmental stewardship through the Ohio EPA's Encouraging Environmental Excellence (E3) Program. Any business, industry, trade association, professional organization or local government of Ohio can be recognized for their commitment to environmental excellence.

In preparation for the next awards cycle, DEFA is offering a free webinar on November 20, 2019 titled “Encouraging Environmental Excellence: The Silver, Gold and Platinum Level Application Process.”  The webinar will discuss how to apply for an E3 award, including:

• How to put together a successful online application and steps organizations can take to apply.
• Types of information Ohio EPA needs to complete the review process.
• Successful components of past applications and requirements for each level.
• How DEFA can help organizations complete successful applications.
• Examples of organizations who have received recognition under the E3 program.

The application deadline for awards is December 20, 2019.
